Solar Cell Airplane Craft

Mr. Pisit Mitkuakul, president of R.C.S.A, has a will to encourage a space for Thai youths to express their new ideas. And this is another oppurtunity he gives to students from Military Technical Training School who create a solar-cell airplane craft.

"One major problem for remote control airplane is that a battery can last only for half an hour."

Mr. Tanapat Klaypong and Mr. Kritikul Janvithi, freshman students from Military Technical Training School, came to see Mr. Pisit to ask for both financial and technical support for creating a solar-cell airplane craft. This can solve the major problem of remote control airplane by allowing it with unlimited power source.

The result of this ground experiment is that the airplane can actually use energy from solar cells. Also, when the current is not sufficient, it can be switched back to battery. However, an airplane requires about 12 solar cells.

Next time we will show you a flight with solar cell energy.


"New perspective is very important as well as a place for it to shine. Thai youths are as good as others; however, we need to provide them a placce," Mr. Pisit said at last.

Bugs-Chased UFO

Mr. Pisit, as a committee judging the winner of youth inventions, had got a chance to talk to the owner of the creative invention bugs-chased UFO.

The valuable invention needs to have this quality: useful to society. Since Thailand is an agricultural country, the bugs-chased UFO will be very practical and useful to farmers. Who knows? The owner of this impressive invention is just a girl named Thanchada Sam-angsri from Southern Thailand.

The capablility of Thai youths is no different from other countries. It is important whether adults give them oppurtunities to express their ideas. We need to support this younger generation of ours.

R.C.S.A wants to be a part of improving our own country. So, we would like to support students with the creative and practical ideas as much as possible.
