Video Clip: Releasing the pack on the spot

Mr. Pisit once said releasing-the-pack-on-the-spot type is the hardest among all type of radio control airplane's competition. One needs to observe the direction and the speed of the wind carefully in order to drop the pack at the targeted spot.

Releasing on the spot:
- Airplane must be at least 5 m high from the spot.
- The contestants must stay on assigned area only.
- Each team will be given 2 chances to drop the pack. The one with higher score will be taken. If more than one team get the same score, the team that use the least time will win.

- Time period is 2.30 min. If the plane crashes within the time, it can be put back to flight until the time ends.
- The team with the highest score is the winner. In the case that the pack isn't dropped in designated area, the distance will be measure from the center to find out the winner. (In the first round, the 5 teams with highest scores will be move on to the next round.)
- RCSA will provide each team with 2 planes. The team can bring with them a plane, but it must be first approved by the committee.

Radio-Control Plane for Forest Restoration

When Mr. Pisit and the crew were in the North for Youth Pilot TV Thai, they did craft one radio-control plane to restore forest in remote, isolated, highly areas.

This is one good example of excelling technology in hand for a very critical use. The purpose of all this activities reaches its peak where we can both enjoy it and make use of it at the same time. Therefore, this action counts as successful step for RCSA, led by Mr. Pisit Mitkuakul.

Mr. Pisit, the present of RCSA

This was what the so-called forest looks like.

A plane was capable of storing 2 kg of seeds.

This was the PLANE.

It did good job at sowing the seeds.

The plane also had a lock so the store inside could be open only at the designated area.

Below is the video of the activity.
Hope that we can inspire someone here ....
